Preparing for a Global Society

CGS is an authorized IB World School, offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme in grades 9 and 10 and the Diploma Programme in grades 11 and 12. The IB programmes offer a challenging framework that encourages students to make practical connections between their studies and the real world.

CGS students are also eligible to participate in the IB Diploma Program at Brien McMahon. The IB Diploma Program is a two-year liberal arts course of study that begins in grade 11 and serves as rigorous preparation for college.
