This year, CGS and BMHS are trying a new format: the Block Party Open House!
Instead of visiting each class for 10 minutes, from 6-8PM we will have departments set up in specific classrooms. With this format, you can wander in and meet the teachers & learn about courses at your own pace. We will have a comprehensive list of meeting locations of CGS departments and BMHS departments and programs, so you can visit the core classes and elective classes that you'd like. In addition, we will have 2 presentations on Tuesday evening in the Community Room.
Here is the schedule for the evening:
6-6:10PM: Community Room. A very short welcome from me and Ms. Spero
6:10-8PM: Locations TBD. Visit departments & programs in CGS & BMHS at your own pace
6:30-7PM: Community Room. 2023-24 Study Tour Overview and Q&A--this is a general overview of the trips and of study tours in general. Parents not attending this presentation can still visit classrooms & meet teachers during this time. (Please note: we will not be presenting specific itineraries---those details will be covered at each individual trip's parent meeting.)
