Sean Driscoll

Sean Driscoll

Japanese Language Teacher

Sean Driscoll received his M.A. in Asian Studies with a concentration in Japanese language and literature from Seton Hall University in 2004. He received a B.A. with a double major in East Asian Languages and Cultures (Japanese language) and English from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in 2002. Sean has been a dedicated member of the CGS faculty since the fall of 2004. He has been a collaborator and chaperone on over a dozen study tours and visits from our sister schools in Japan. In 2017-18, two of his dreams were finally realized. First, he earned his English Certification and began teaching sections of World Literature -- officially becoming the first CGS “hybrid” instructor. Second, his first son, David Joseph-Michio was born. He resides happily in a small town near New Haven, CT with Michio and his loving, beautiful wife, Toni. Fun fact -- he is indeed half-Japanese and is NOT Hawaian or Italian...
