Dear CGS Students and Families,
Today, Ms. Parham, Ms. Spero, and the rest of the CGS faculty participated in two grade level assemblies—one for students in grades 9 and 10, the other for students in grades 11 and 12—in order to introduce and/or remind students of the Code of Conduct for Norwalk Public Schools. Even more importantly, we discussed the importance of what it takes to maintain the unique and wonderful culture @ CGS, which starts with the command: “Be Here.” Students @ CGS choose to “Be Here,” and we encouraged students to remember that to Be Here means being present, being on time, and being engaged in their classes.
We also discussed some of the non-negotiable safety and courtesy rules for the building as well as the consequences for making not-great choices. You can review the details of our assemblies here.
If you’d like more detailed information on the Code of Conduct, you can find the NPS High School Handbook for Students and Families on our website at For Students > Student Handbook.
As always, please reach out with any questions or suggestions.
